Experience the best of Uganda’s wildlife and spectacular landscapes on this exciting 3-day Murchison Falls and Ziwa Rhino Tracking Safari. The journey combines the dramatic scenery of Murchison Falls National Park, an exciting wildlife game drive, a scenic boat cruise along the Victoria Nile, and an unforgettable encounter with endangered southern white rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Your adventure begins with a transfer from Entebbe/Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park, where you will visit the spectacular Top of the Falls and enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile. The following morning, embark on an early game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kob and other wildlife before continuing to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
At Ziwa, spend the night in a luxury tent, surrounded by the natural atmosphere of the sanctuary. On the final morning, enjoy a guided rhino-tracking experience before proceeding to Entebbe for your airport or hotel drop-off.
This short safari is ideal for travelers who want to experience Uganda’s powerful waterfalls, savannah wildlife, Nile River and rhino conservation within just three days.
Day 1: Entebbe/Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park – Top of the Falls – Boat Cruise
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala. Drive northwards towards Murchison Falls National Park, enjoying beautiful countryside scenery and local communities along the way.
Upon arrival in the park, proceed to the Top of Murchison Falls. Here, witness the mighty Nile River being squeezed through a narrow gorge before plunging down the rocks with tremendous force. Enjoy spectacular views, take photographs and appreciate one of Uganda’s most impressive natural attractions.
Afterward, continue to Paraa Safari Lodge for lunch and check-in. The lodge offers beautiful views of the River Nile and is conveniently located within Murchison Falls National Park.
In the afternoon, embark on an exciting boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, look out for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and numerous species of water birds.
Return to Paraa Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Murchison Falls – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary r
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before setting off for an exciting morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park.
The early morning offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. Search for elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kob, hartebeest, antelopes and other wildlife as you explore the park’s savannah plains.
After the game drive, leave Murchison Falls National Park and continue southwards towards Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Upon arrival, check into your Luxury Tent and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the sanctuary. The sanctuary provides luxury tented accommodation, allowing you to stay close to nature.
Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the following day’s rhino tracking experience.

Day 3: Rhino Tracking – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Entebbe
After an early breakfast, begin your rhino tracking experience at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Together with an experienced ranger, walk through the sanctuary in search of the endangered southern white rhinos. This is a unique opportunity to observe these magnificent animals on foot while learning about their behavior, habitat and conservation.
After the rhino tracking experience, return to the lodge for some refreshments before beginning your journey to Entebbe.
Drive through the Ugandan countryside towards Entebbe, with lunch en route. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport or your preferred accommodation, marking the end of your 3-day Uganda wildlife safari.
